| | :::I'm pretty sure if they were truly anti-Christianity, they'd be all in favor of unlimited abortion on demand even back then (especially when the Church was ALWAYS against abortion), and yet, as demonstrated with Susan B. Anthony, several of them were AGAINST abortion. I know Vladimir Lenin certainly was all in for unlimited abortion, being notorious for literally legalizing unlimited and unrestricted abortion in the USSR and being the first state leader to EVER do so, even having the audacity to claim THIS emancipated women, and was such that even the likes of Margaret Sanger, herself no pro-life adherer, was reportedly aghast at it. Besides, my idea of having my hypothetical wife submitting to me would be closer to what Geldoblame advocated for everyone under his rule from Baten Kaitos, and I'm pretty sure even Jesus and his disciples NEVER advocated for that kind of submission (even less so when Geldoblame used THAT as justification for committing mass murder against a mining community by torching it simply because they withheld ore shipments thanks to his draconian labor statutes that left them dangerously overworked). | | + | *Being pro-life does not necessarily make one pro-Christianity. Victoria Woodhull was against abortion and she was a Marxist and practically a communist. Also even Sanger claimed to be against abortion if I am not incorrect, saying birth control got rid of the need for it. Planned Parenthood did not start to endorse the legalization of abortion until 1969, and abortion did not even start to become popular until after Roe v. Wade. That was really more of the Overton Window being shifted in conservatism's direction back then than feminism being conservative. It just really goes to show how much ground we've lost. -Mr. Nationalist (talk) 22:42, November 9, 2021 (EST) |
