Changes

David Bowie is an important [[Rock]] musician from the [[United Kingdom]], who achieved prominence in the 1970s. He was noted for his ability to constantly surprise with each new album - his early work owed something to the [[Progressive Rock]] movement, whilst albums such as Low acknowledged the embryonic [[Electronica]] movement as represented by [[Kraftwerk]] and [[Brian Eno]]. It is worth noting that, while near contemporaries such as Elton John and Paul McCartney have been knighted, Bowie has never been awarded -- or, more likely, never accepted -- any state honour.
