The Creation Museum is a multi- million dollar museum in the United States designed to promote [[Young Earth Creationism]]. It opened its doors to the public on May 28, 2007.
The museum presents a literal interpretation of [[Genesis]] in the origin of universe and life. The exhibits are designed to illustrate that the planet is just a few thousand years old and that man and dinosaurs once coexisted. The enterprise is supported by [[Ken Ham]], creator of the group [http://www.answersingenesis.org/ Answers in Genesis].
Controversy has raged since the enterprise was announced with physicist Lawrence Krauss<ref>[http://www.phys.cwru.edu/faculty/index.php?krauss Lawrence Krauss, Faculty Page]</ref>, Director of the Center for Education and Research in Cosmology and Astrophysics at Case Western Reserve University, stating that the museum is both a "fraud" and "hypocritical" because it:
