:Inflation right now is somewhere between 13 and 26%. One big, big cause was the $3,000 in stimulus payments over the past 2 years while nothing was produced. So now the inflationary chickens have come home to roost. The Millennial generation has no experience with inflation, as the boomers did not either in the 1970s; the New Deal generation knew it very well, as FDR's margin of victory shrank year after year in each of his four terms.
