We should move these to "Black Americans". "African-American" is an un-American & unpatriotic term, that minimizes what it means to be American. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ElOMAxeTSA The Sage of South Central explains it pretty well here.]
We should also get rid of all the categories like "Italian-American", "Irish-American", etc. It's not that one cannot be both American and something else, but one cannot hyphenate the two. Take me. I'm an American. I'm also Cuban. I'm not a "Cuban-American". I've never lived in Cuba, and I don't have dual citizenship, despite my mother's family being from Cuba. My identity as a Christian, White American is more important. Thus, we should switch this to "Black Americans".
