Another start, needs work
Abraham '''"Bram" Stoker''' was an author born in [[Dublin]] on November 8th 1847. Although in his lifetime, he wrote many novels and was a contributer to The Dublin Mail, an [[Irish]] newspaper, he is best remembered for his horror classic [[Dracula]]. Prior to starting work on [[Dracula]], Stoker spent eight years researching [[European]] folklore and [[vampire]] myths and legends. Although he wrote other tales of the supernatural, none achieved the lasting fame of [[Dracula]].

He died on April 20th 1912 and was cremated. His ashes are displayed at Golder's Green crematorium in [[London]]. In [[Whitby]] where much of Dracula is set, there is a commemorative seat overlooking the harbour named in his memory.
