This gives a liberal quotient of about 1:2. These numbers have been fairly constant during the last decades.

This means that the group of editors on Wikipedia that chose to self-identify has a liberal quotient of about 3:1. Wikipedia's higher liberal bias has been used by Conservapedia as proof of its liberal bias. However, not every Wikipedia user is American, so it is wrong to compare Wikipedia's and America's liberal quotient, because this does not take into account other areas such as the UK.
