==Staged "white supremacist" rally==
In an attempt to derail [[Glenn Youngkin]]'s gubernatorial campaign, the Lincoln Project claimed responsibility for staging a hoax white nationalist rally on October 29, 2021. This was done by having Virginia Democratic Party affiliates dress as right-wing protesters from the Charlottesville Unite the Right protest, shown carrying tiki torches and wearing white shirts.
