This is a dubious method for measuring open mindedness. Many blocked accounts are those of mindless vandals, that the aren't real editors. :Well, it's still just an essay - one person's view on a certain subject. As to blocking, yes we are trying to reform out blocking editors to be a bit more discerning between legitimate divergent points of view, trolls. But it can be a fine line.
