The problem with the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact is, Hitler's violation of the pact on June 22, 1941 with the invasion of the Soviet Union was a key cause to the charge of "Crimes Against Peace" at the Nuremberg Tribunal which adjudicated the Pact as authentic and legal. Fast forward. Can Russia now claim the [[Baltic States]] as breakaway separatists, much as Ukraine claims Lugansk, Donetsk, and Crimea as their territory?
