The Little Mermaid (1989)
Directed by: John Musker and Ron Clements
Produced by: John Musker and Howard Ashman
Written by: John Musker and Ron Clements
Music by: Alan Menken and Howard Ashman
Starring: Jodi Benson, Pat Carrol, Christopher Daniel Barnes, Samuel E. Wright, Ben Wright, Kenneth Mars, Buddy Hackett, Padi Edwards, Jason Martin
Running time: 1 hour, 22 minutes
The Little Mermaid was a Disney film based off the 1836 Hans Christian Andersen story of the same name. It’s a liberal film as it promotes the homosexual agenda in the song Part of Your World as Howard Ashman the movie’s co-producer and lyricist was a homosexual.
The film’s popularity started what many Disney fans call the “Renaissance“ era, and this received a prequel tv show and movie, along with a follow-up sequel in 2000 with many of the same themes from this movie.
