Ukraine re-opened the Kremenchuk shopping mall in June 2022 at the same time it built a massive stockpile of NATO weapons directly across the street in large vehicle factory. The purpose was to use civilians as human shields for a legitimate military target. When the factory was struck in June 2022, the massive explosion of NATO weapons caused the shopping mall some 70 meters away to ignite, resulting in two dozen civilian deaths. The mall management ignored air raid sirens and did not evacuate the building to shelters. | Ukraine re-opened the Kremenchuk shopping mall in June 2022 at the same time it built a massive stockpile of NATO weapons directly across the street in large vehicle factory.
