According to John Mark Dougan, an American living in [[Moscow]] who frequently reports from [[Donbas]], ''The Daily Beast'' contacted him asking for the location of a prison where Ukrainian [[POW]]s and foreign mercenaries were being held.  Dougan had interviewed [[UK]] mercenary Aidan Aslin, who spoke of Ukrainian sale of weapons to the [[Kurdish]] terrorists in [[Syria]]. Dougan refused to divulge the information.  Other prisoners as well have given up a wealth of information on Ukrainian operations and war crimes.  The prison however was destroyed by a U.S.-built [[HIMAR]] on July 29, 2022.  Fifty-three people were killed, including 2 prison guards.
