Late July 2022, IDF arrested a senior PIJ, at the action, terrorists shot at the IDF and one "Palestinian" was killed. The PIJ then threatened to attack Israelis. In response, the IDF eliminated a PIJ leader on Aug 5, 2022, (while the terrorists was using civilians).
