I was responding to another editors ranting
Line 474: Line 474:
:There is no reference to Deuteronomy in the article.  And the Deuteronomy reference basically is about honesty, not enticing a member of your own sex by dressing up as something that you are not. :The point you are trying to make has nothing to do with feminism. It does, however have to do with gender confusion or dysphoria. While modern science may brand gender dysphoria as a mental handicap (perhaps involuntary or uncontrollable), Deuteronomy says gender confusion is a choice. But that is not a discussion for here in this article. [[User:RobSmith|RobS]][[User talk:RobSmith|Ich bin ein breakfast taco]] 16:32, August 28, 2022 (EDT)

:::Really I was responding to another editor's ranting, though this article isn't so much about feminism as an extreme version of it. Even Andy Schafly agreed in an interview that his mother believed in the equal rights of women:
 +
::::: Schlafly wants to know what I mean by "feminist". I offer a dictionary definition: "A feminist is someone who believes in equal rights for men and women."
 +
:::::His response is surprising. "She may have agreed with that sort of general statement - as stated like that, yes."
 +
:::::It seems that - as her opponents always maintained - the matriarch of American antifeminism was deep down a feminist herself. ''Daily Telegraph'' Jul 23, 2020
