The Clinton Campaign and the DNC chose Perkins Coie to oversee and coordinate their plan for a specific purpose – they anticipated that conspiring with their legal counsel would help conceal their dealings under the shroud of attorney-client privilege. However, attorney-client privilege is wholly inapplicable to the pertinent discussions between these parties – not only were the communications between the DNC/Clinton Campaign and Perkins Coie non-legal in nature, they were also in furtherance of criminal and fraudulent wrongdoing.
