Putin has ramped up the recruitment of Russian soldiers hoping that more manpower will turn the tide for the Russians.
Time will tell who prevails in this war and wars are hard to predict. But if Russia ultimately loses this war, consider this potentially applying: "First the collapse of the Soviet Union and Soviet Empire and now this! Oh Russophiles, feel the sting!".
I predict that the Ukrainians and Russians will be badly damaged by this war. More of Ukraine will be wrecked by the war. Europe could suffer a lot of economic damage due to energy supply problems.
