I wish the funding for the war in Ukraine by American taxpayers would end immediately. Why?

7. Ukraine is not of vital strategic importance to the USA. The USA has two huge oceans and the Canadians or Mexicans are not going to war with the USA. Europe has twice the population of the USA. Let the Europeans handle this issue which is in their backyard. Let them fund the Ukrainians and their war.

:Good points. The continued many-billion-dollar funding by the [[GOP]] makes no sense.--[[User:Aschlafly|Andy Schlafly]] ([[User talk:Aschlafly|talk]]) 23:59, October 1, 2022 (EDT)

::::This is how the US fights wars - with bribery and inflation. When Saddam Hussein was captured in a hole, he had $600 million dollars in one hundred dollar bills.  Poor Saddam, like Europeans today, you can't eat dollar bills, and all they are good for is throwing them on the fire to keep warm. :Actually, I posted some British general predicting Russian defeats in the future on main page right. Anyways, since neither side is wanting to go to the peace table soon, I hope the militarily weaker side buckles soon and that appears to be the Russians at the present time. But since wars are unpredictable, I will merely say that the Russians appear to be the underdog. But if a majority of the [[GOP]] decided to pull funding for the Ukrainians that would be good, but I doubt that this will happen (see: [[Essay: 10 reasons the Republicans should end funding the war in Ukraine immediately if they win control of the U.S Congress in the 2022 midterms|10 reasons the Republicans should end funding the war in Ukraine immediately if they win control of the U.S Congress in the 2022 midterms]]). I am not a fan of Russia or Ukraine as they are both corrupt countries with a history of problems related to authoritarianism.

::Predicting is not news. It's the stuff of gypsy fortunetellers and investment advisors.  In today's world, a "national security analyst" "predicting" is called "shaping the narrative", or more specifically "shaping the [[propaganda]] narrative". You'd think you would have learned this by now after Obama CIA chief [[John Brennan]] called Trump a "traitor" for meeting with Putin, or 50 "national security experts" calling the [[Laptop from Hell]] "Russian disinformation." But no, you keep swallowing NATO war propaganda hook, line, and sinker. [[User:RobSmith|RobS]][[User talk:RobSmith|Ich bin ein breakfast taco]] 17:11, October 3, 2022 (EDT)
