Don Williamson is a member of the Masonic lodge, the Lions International, and the Downtown Shreveport Rotary Club, one of the largest of all the Rotary chapters. [2] Williamson died a month after his 92nd birthday. He is interred at Evans-Richie Cemetery in Vivian,<ref name=obit/>
