Shadow Mario is the mysterious doppelganger of Mario and a primary antagonist in Super Mario Sunshine. He carries around the Magic Paintbrush, capable of creating goop and graffiti of varying colors, and has used it to pollute Isle Delfino prior to the game's events. Later on, Shadow Mario reveals himself to be Bowser Jr., the son of Bowser.
