| | Thus all 13 footnotes are not shown when opened up for editing, and if I proceed to ad a ref then it results in the destructive data described under Admin Help needed. I suspect therefore that someone for some reason placed some sort of blocking on me [edit: yet I can see refs on other pages], or just on this page which is not simply unwarranted (as I am not any kind of vandal, but have been a main editor on the section at issue, and on some other articles in time past. User Conservative- if he is till here - can attest to this but it is also dangerous, as seen. Thus your help is appreciated. | − | Further investigation revealed that the same absence of references in edit mode also occurred in Wikipedia, thus pointing to the problem being on my end. Restarting Firefox with all extensions disabled resolved the issue, and thus I proceeded to restart normally and selectively disable a few extensions, and soon - but sadly - found the problematic one, for it was the[Bible Previewer extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bible-previewer/?utm_source=addons.mozilla.org&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=search), which I really like, since it renders Bible references into visible popups! But somehow the coding for wikitext refs gets nuked. Since I also have that extension on the Chromium-based Vivaldi browser then the same issue occurred in that one. Thus I need to disable that extension on the browser I use for wiki editing, and will let the developer know of the issue. | + | Further investigation revealed that the same absence of references in edit mode also occurred in Wikipedia, thus pointing to the problem being on my end.
