In passing the gavel to Republican [[Speaker Kevin McCarthy]], Jeffries incited violent insurrection by encouraging Democrats to "fight".  Jeffries further violated and disrespected standing House rules before the adoption of the new Congress's own rules by referring to men as "men" and women as "women" from the House dais.
