On Friday evening, the girl injured her head, apparently as a result of a fall, and her mother took her to a hospital. Early in the morning the girl was released from the hospital and early morning the two left early in the morning on their way back home.
The girl's mother said that on the road between Ofra and Shiloh, she noticed a car driven by a Palestinian speeding into her lane. At first she thought that the driver had fallen asleep, and veered into the other lane. However, according to her, the driver chased her into the lane in which she was driving and the Palestinian driver again swerved into the lane in which she was driving while his lights were on after her.
The chase ended in a serious accident, which led to the fatal injury of the toddler and the injury of her mother, who suffers from bruises and fractures all over her body. The mother said that after the car stopped in the accident, Arabs gathered around them, clapped, whistled and cheered. When the rescue forces arrived, they fled the scene. The Lavie family demands that the incident be investigated as an attack and not as a car accident.</small></blockquote></ref><ref>Orly Harari, [https://www.inn.co.il/news/594916Two-year-old Hadar Noga Lavi, who was seriously injured after being hit by a Palestinian vehicle, died], ''INN'', Mar 10, 2023</ref>
