About the "Protocols..." these have been known as a hoax almost as soon as their publishication in English in the early 20th century. They cannot be considered "classic anti-Semitism", they are more conspiracy theory (similar to "holy blood holy grail" I think). Basically I think giving the "protocols" credence by linking them with a serious problem such as anti-semitism denigrates the accuracy of the article. If you want to compare Chomsky's sayings/theories with those of the "protocols" then refer to them as a hoax - it's just more correct. In my opinion.
