:::::::::::I see. Your vague usage of "the spirit" can be misleading, however. If you're referring to the Holy Spirit, that is only in the case of believers with godly faith; if you're referring to the individual, it misapplies the concept of the soul. Individual humans in of themselves have no immortal "spirit," as the person ''is'' the soul, a combination of the dust of the ground plus the breath of life.
