Much of the problem in Texas is, it is home to a lot of [[military industrial complex]] spending, beginning with [[NASA]] or the plant in Amarillo (Texron?) that assemble nuclear warheads and cluster ammunitions, etc. So much of the establishment donor base there, for both parties, are old time Bushie neocons who hate and fear reform tendencies coming from the likes of Paxton or Trump.
