|A prophetic day is a literal year. (Numbers 14:34, Ezekiel 4:6) The Jews followed the lunar calendar which tallied 360 days in a year; 1/24 of 360 days is 15 days, half of which is 7.5. Note the text says ''about''. It's hence logical to assume the space of time lasts a week, and why is Heaven silent? Because the Lord takes all the armies of Heaven with Him at His Second Coming. It's silly to assume the Lamb is supposedly incapable of reaching the earth faster than a duration of three and a half days, so more likely the saints are given a brief tour on the way to Heaven and relax on the Sabbath before finally meeting the Father.
