In fact, Reagan could probably be viewed as more of an anti-communist [[Cold War]]rior tha Bush. Then again, outside of public pronouncements, Reagan gave over the conduct of foreign policy and international relations to Papy Bush, which gave Bush the ability to operate beneath the radar and do things a President ordinarily wouldn't or shouldn't be involved in, to wit [[Iran-Contra]].
