To begin, the section regarding the first appearance of "God is dead" is factually wrong. Reference to the actual text will show the phrase appears in Aphorism 108, at the very beginning of Book III, as the entry now reflects. The rest of the entry displayed a misguided attempt to downplay the degree of Nietzsche's antagonism towards Christianity.
