::There are many [[conservative]] groups, such as the [[Amish]], who oppose bikinis.  But it's not a litmus test.  I doubt the issue is in the [[Republican Party Platform]].  I'll look for this after I post here.

::I oppose the [[liberal]] [[double standard]], which is used often against [[conservatives]], that tries diminish our ranks by demonizing anyone who departs from liberals' stereotype of what a conservative should be.  Thirty years ago a conservative candidate for [[U.S. Senate]] in [[California]] was smeared for going to strip clubs for entertainment, which he freely admitted and which is hardly unusual in that [[Hollywood]]-supporting state.  Meanwhile, liberals' far worse conduct by their own is just fine.  I cannot support that double standard, and I do not think that asexual appearances and puritanical conduct are a requirement to be a conservative advocate, spokesperson or candidate.--[[User:Aschlafly|Andy Schlafly]] ([[User talk:Aschlafly|talk]]) 01:47, December 31, 2023 (EST)
