It was wrong for the article to say a ghost is "believed" to be a spirit that haunts people. That's like saying orange is "believed" to be the colour that results when red and yellow pigments are mixed. A ghost is a spirit - that's its definition. Its ontological status is a separate issue. I took out the reference to "haunts people" because it not an essential part of its definition. One can conceive of a ghost without it actively haunting someone.[[User:GloriaL|GloriaL]] 15:39, 7 December 2008 (EST)
