All of the races were created on the 6th day of creation (Genesis 1:26-27), Adam and Eve were not created until later (Genesis 2:7, Gen. 2:22). More evidence of this is noted above from Cain coming upon the land of Nod. Had Adam and Eve been the only people alive at that time it would not have been possible for there to be other cities much less anyone else alive.
