The '''Texas primary 2024''' features a battle between [[conservative]] [[Ken Paxton]] and [[RINO]] [[Greg Abbott]], each of whom has endorsed a mostly-rival slate of candidates. [[Liberal]] donors like TLR support Abbott's candidates, while conservative donors back Paxton's candidates.

<blockquote>Paxton has endorsed close to 50 GOP hopefuls for these seats, and Abbott has thrown his support to 78 candidates.<ref>https://www.kut.org/politics/2024-03-04/texas-house-election-abbott-paxton-races-republican-primary-endorsements-campaign-contributions</ref></blockquote>
