A second video showed another captured terrorist also confessing he received orders via the Telegram messaging service.

Sunday March 24, 2024 was declared a national day of mourning. On the evening before, President Putin addressed the nation in a nationally televised broadcast vowing, ""All perpetrators, organizers and customers of this [[crime]] will suffer fair and inevitable punishment. Whoever they are, whoever guides them.
