:Well it is referenced, although the source could hardly be described as unbiased. The main problem is that the first sentence is deliberately misleading; It implies that all those who have ever used the term 'Palestine' to refer to a region of the Eastern Mediterranean do so 'in order to deny that the land belongs to the Jews', which is clearly not the case. --[[User:Jalapeno|Jalapeno]] 04:29, 19 May 2007 (EDT)

The Balfour Declaration itself that called for the creation of the State of Israel argued for the creation of a Jewish State in Palestine. How could the use of Palestine in this historical context be construed as denying the land belongs to Jews? The British Mandate itself was named the British Mandate of Palestine.
