The doctrinal statement of the BMAA does not discuss the topic of marriage at all.<ref>https://bmaamerica.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/BMAADoctrinalStatement.pdf</ref>

The doctrinal statement of the BMAA states that "God created marriage", that "Jesus Christ declared the creator’s intention for marriage to be

the inseparable and exclusive union between a man and a woman (natural man and natural woman)", and that it " testifies of the union between Christ and the church".<ref>https://bmaamerica.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/BMAADoctrinalStatement.pdf</ref>
