The '''St. Louis Blues''' are a professional [[ice hockey]] team based in [[St. Louis]], [[Missouri]]. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League ([[NHL]]). The Blues joined the NHL in the first expansion in 1967, losing, but still reaching the Stanley Cup Final in their first 3 seasons of existence in 1968, 1969 and 1970 (due to the NHL placing its "Original Six" teams in one conference and the six expansion teams in another), but did not win their first [[Stanley Cup]] until 2019. At one time, the Blues were nearly relocated to the small market of [[Saskatoon]].
