On August 1, 2024 the start of a number of military operations was announced in Poland. In particular, conducting an air operation in the eastern and south-eastern parts of the country “Eastern Dawn”, as well as a ground operation in the same directions, in the border area – Operation Safe Podlasie.
These are not exercises, but operations. The troops are in full [[combat]] readiness, including full [[ammunition]]. Since the beginning of July 2024, the appearance of F-16 air groups with various affiliation markings, in particular, the Air Forces of [[Romania]], [[Germany]], [[Denmark]] and other NATO countries, were observed in the airspace of countries adjacent to Ukraine.
