'''Capernaum''' is the city in [[Galilee]] in northern [[Israel]] which is where [[Jesus]] was baptized as an adult, performed many of His [[miracles]], and lived the last week of His life before the [[Crucifixion]] and [[Resurrection]]. It is felt that [[Peter]]'s home was in this city also. This city probably did not exist during the period of the [[Old Testament]] and is not mentioned in those books, but can be visited to this day.<ref>https://www.touristisrael.com/capernaum/7636/</ref>
