:Yah, I was looking at that. Egypt is mentioned a few times in the M.E. section, but I was thinking of cutting out the section on the two battles of Al Alamein and combining with the Africa Campaign. I think this will help integrating the whole concept of Arab Nazism into the overall historical narrative. RobS[[User talk:RobSmith|The Truth. :Palestine Arabs vs other Arabs:;There were differences between Arabs in Israel-Mandatory-Palestine where pro Hitlerism was the strongest and enthusiastic in the M.E even without being occupied by the Axis - which is also why it makes it unique, VS other Arab countries which also had tendencies such as by Muslim Brotherhood and criwd who cheered at Jews' suffering, those who abused Jewish prisoners of the Axis in N. Africa and of course those "icons" that helped Vichy. There were also Nazi inspired (some say linked) pogroms before the war, such as 1934 Algeria. (It's safe to assume, one wouldn't find an 88% pro Axis by Arabs outside Palestine as the Feb/41 showed by Sakakini. Though the term "abu ali" was wide spread in Arabia).Telling (talk) 04:43, August 7, 2024 (EDT)

::Africa campaign reads now, "The Battle [of al Alamein] also cemented the reputation of Montgomery as a victorious general. He was a cautious commander bla bla bla...". Yah, tell that to Americans who got needlessly killed in his Market Garden or what Ike said about it.
