Our Lady of Lujan is a Catholic shrine located 40 miles west of [[Buenos Aires]], [[Argentina]]. It consists of a small, doll-like statute of [[Mary]], the mother of [[Jesus]], crowned with precious stones such as diamonds and later honored with the building of an entire cathedral, which in 1930 was designated as a [[basilica]].

[[Argentina]], [[Paraguay]] and [[Uruguay]] all consider Our Lady of Lujan to be their official protectress.
