IMPEACH BUSH!!!!!!!!!!Morse Code was invented by Samuel Morse in the 1840s. It looks like a bunch of dashes and dots, but in fact it is a language with its own way of expressing words and punctuation. The most famous Morse Code sequence is "SOS" (---...---). Officially adopted as a distress call in 1908, it replaced the older "CQD". While commonly believed to stand for "Save Our Souls" or "Save Our Ship", it does not; the sequence was chosen for its ease of use and recognizability.[] See also: Braille, CB radio
