::Perhaps a reference to how Hitler refered to the Versailles Treaty as "the Versailles Diktat," elsewhere we can include that is was the Untied States alone through the Dawes Plan that ameliorated the burden on Germany (and never ratified the Versailles Treaty or joined the League of Nations, as user:Order says "never fully enforced").
All this adds support to fact that the Nazi's were not "reactionary", as Arthur Schlesinger has said; while the destruction of the Imperial Germany was the cause of the wounded pride of foreigners and non-Imperial German's like the Austrian Adolf Hitler, and some Germans like the Republic President Hindenburg actually looked forward to restoration of the House of Hohenzollern, the Nazi's, true Socialists that they were, never advocated restoration of the monarchy.
