Although the Internet has been shown to contain valuable information, it also hosts a large number of dumba** websites like this one. It was predicted by the ancient Incas that there will be so many utterly inane websites by the year 2012 that the internet will implode, causing mass withdrawal and, subsequently, the end of the world. Because of this, it has been suggested that use of the internet be made strictly for pornography and pirating.  

Although the Internet has been shown to contain valuable information, its popularity has spread largely through hosting of pornographic or otherwise vulgar material. Therefore, some conservatives would like to see tighter controls on the Internet which would limit what can be hosted and what can be downloaded.
