New Article - Calculus (I knew my Calculus book would come in Handy!)
Calculus is a mathematical subject which studies limits, derivatives, integrals and infinite series.
Calculus is used extensively in science and engineering to solve complex and expansive problems where [[algebra]] is insufficient. It builds on analytic geometry and mathematical analysis and includes two major branches, differential calculus and integral calculus, that are related by the fundamental theorem of calculus.
[[Sir Issac Netwon]] was one of the most famous inventors of calculus, however there are several others who developed the foundations calculus including [[Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz]].<ref>Calculus, 5th edition, by James Stewart, Nelson Canada</ref>
