What the? They already lived there! We won the land from Mexico in the war! Not to mention they didn't get citizenship until YEARS later, they were treated the same way indians were. Someone needs to re-write this page with some semblance of fact. Also, "an early supporter of the bush doctrine of pre-emptive war"? really... ?
