This particular title highlights Jesus's role as the divine expression of God's will and [[purpose]], the embodiment of God's message to humanity. The Bible itself is also called the "Word of God," but in a different way, serving as a written record of God's message, laws, and principles.<ref>[https://www.google.com/search?q=jesus+is+the+word&oq=Jesus+is+the+word&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBwgAEAAYgAQyBwgAEAAYgAQyBwgBEAAYgAQyBwgCEAAYgAQyBwgDEAAYgAQyBwgEEAAYgAQyBwgFEAAYgAQyBwgGEAAYgAQyBwgHEAAYgAQyBwgIEAAYgAQyBggJEC4YQNIBCDg2MzhqMGoxqAIAsAIA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Jesus is the Word]</ref>
