According to a psychologist of atheism, Will Gervais, in his 2024 review of global literature on rationality he stated that most of the literature shows that the "rational atheist" is a myth since the differences in intelligence or rationality in studies are generally insignificant and negligible and also notes that rationality is common among religious people.<ref>Will M.
