a start

'''Gambling prohibited by Islam''':

[[Islam]] prohibits [[gambling]], which is called maisir or qimar, for multiple reasons:
*the [[Quran]] and Hadith expressly teach against it as the result of [[Satan]], and an abomination;
*gambling is harmful to people, causing [[addiction]] and ruining families financially
*Islam promotes work for making a living, rather than relying on chance through gambling.
*gambling wastes time as a sinful activity, time that could be far better spent
*gambling sparks hatred towards others by creating losses while another gains
