He's employed this technique for the better part of two decades to convince, better yet, to bamboozle Andy that he has a following or that there is Popular interest in his writing.

The phantom following [[User:Conservative]] created evidently never get tired of reading the same [[spam]] over and over again, and wait with bated breath to follow his every copy paste edit by the minute. And Andy has fallen for this scam for years.
